Cookies policy
This Cookie Policy (cookies, HTTP cookies) explains what cookies are and how we use them on the site you are on. You can find out here:
What are cookies?
Cookies are small pieces of text sent to your browser by the website or web application (web application) you visit. Among other things, they help record information about your visit, which can make it easier to revisit the site and make it more useful to you. Cookies are an integral part of the way modern websites work. It is worth noting here that these cookies, are not computer programs, and as such do not work as applications in themselves. They are merely a type of data packet sent between the user’s browser and the site’s server. The cookies therefore cannot contain malware or viruses, cannot access your hard drive and cannot take control of your computer. The reason why the information obligation for the cookie policy was created is a privacy issue. Cookies serve useful and sometimes necessary purposes in navigating the Internet. For example, they make it possible to store state information (such as items added to a shopping cart in an online store, login status in an online bank) on a user’s device or to track a user’s browsing activity (most personalization and social media integration on websites rely on cookies in one way or another).
Where are the cookies located?
Cookies are placed on the device from which you access the website (nowadays this can be a computer, smartphone, tablet, TV, etc.). In practice, it looks like when you visit a site, the site sends cookies to your device, and the device stores them in your browser files.
What’s the fuss about privacy and security?
If cookies are just harmless text files, then why all the fuss, why did the information obligation regarding cookies arise, according to the provisions of the laws (go to the laws)? The issue is not so much about security, but rather about privacy. Although when it comes to security, also in the case of cookies you need to be careful about a few things and, for example, do not use the option to remember passwords and forms (which uses cookies) on a computer that is not yours. And when it comes to privacy and cookies, the issue was originally about tracking statistics and advertising systems. Thanks to, having an extensive advertising network, some companies, whose cookies are served by many websites, are able to target users’ preferences more accurately, which may harm their privacy. In practice, for example, it looks like this, we search for something on the Internet, go to various sites, and then ads associated with what we searched for appear to us for some time. This whole mechanism is operated thanks to the data stored in cookies. Entering a given page containing ads, the script reads from the cookies previous sessions, based on which the relevant algorithms adjust the content. This is where the issue of privacy comes in, the question is: To what extent do we want to allow our Internet searches to be data used for marketing purposes?

How are cookies used? – three types of cookies
We already know that websites use HTTP cookies to improve the Internet experience. The operation of cookies on websites can be divided into 3 categories, representing three types of cookies:
User session management – User sessions facilitate secure interaction between a user and some service or application. When a user continues to interact with a web application, it sends requests that help track the user’s status during the session. In practice, such cookies are used for logins, auto-filling form fields, shopping lists, etc. Session cookies, also called temporary cookies because they exist only in temporary memory (when the user is on a website page). Browsers typically delete session cookies when the user closes the browser window.
User Personalization – User Personalization saves a user’s preferences and settings for reuse when the user logs in or launches an application. The settings are saved and synchronized with a central database to help users return to the preferred settings used when they first interact with the application. Examples of such use include user settings, themes, page language.
Tracking – Tracking records and analyzes a user’s web browsing habits and finds the number and types of pages they visit. Details include the time spent on the site and the sequence of pages in the user’s sessions. Because of the sensitive information involved in tracking, users should be aware of security vulnerabilities when visiting unsecured websites. Such cookies are used for statistics and also for marketing activities.
